Introduction to Strength Training
Description: Participants will learn and perfect major compound lifts, complete conditioning circuits, and develop mental grit with the overall goal of increasing strength and gaining some muscle. Strength training has countless proven benefits, some highlights include improved body composition, better musculoskeletal health, and improved balance and coordination. This is an amazing opportunity for semi/regularly active, highly motivated individuals who want to push and challenge a new aspect of their own physical fitness.

Description: TRX+ is an hour long dynamic workout with a focus on suspension training and functional movements in a small group setting. Small group training offers a more exclusive environment than a group fitness class with individual attention from a personal trainer to focus on exercise technique and planned progression-creating a safe and challenging workout. This 6 week progressive training program will have a main focus on TRX movements but will also include development of proper form during exercise, increased mobility, strength, and endurance, as well as an introduction to high intensity interval training (HIIT) and advanced methods of training.

From tips on training certain muscle groups, styles of training, to how to improve endurace, clinics are tailored to your group's interests. Student groups of 3-5 are elligible for FitClinics.
